JEB STUART'S ROOM will dazzle you with the sense of the flamboyant Confederate general awaiting his special love, features an 1818 queen canopy bed with swinging headboard, working fireplace and a quaint private bath.LIZZIE'S ROOM features a tragic legacy of the Civil War, literally written into one of Edgewood's window panes. Your heart will be touched for Elizabeth Lizzie Rowland, who etched her name on an upstairs bedroom window. She died of a broken heart after waiting in vain for her lover to return from the war. Legend has it - and many people believe - that she still waits for him, watching from her upstairs window.
VICTORIA'S ROOM will sweep you into a time long past with its fabulous collection of period clothing, fireplace, rare burl-walnut 1840 queen bed with antique linens, private bath which you enter through stained-glass French doors.
