The East Lake Bedchamber is so named because of the Victorian East Lake style furnishings that were family pieces from special friends. To enrich these furnishings, gold damask wall coverings and rich green fabrics are used. A beautiful dogwood impressioned gold-leafed antique mirror over the fireplace reflects the warm glow of the room as you relax in the comfortable sitting area or on the queen size bed. A shared balcony overlooks the Inn's Gardens and Veranda.In the Garret Bedchamber, one can experience the turn-of-the-century Victorian Orient with elegant china blue and gold colors, accented with antique furnishings. A black wrought iron king size bed and sitting area both provide comfortable alternatives for enjoying the fireplace. The perfect place to reconnect! To compliment the bedchamber, the spacious elegant bath is decorated in a beautiful complimenting décor. A fireplace located adjacent to the two-person whirlpool with hand-shower provides the ultimate touch of romance, relaxation and tranquility.
An important part of the Bed & Breakfast experience is the food. The White Doe Inn is pleased to provide outstanding service and a delicious full four course seated and served breakfast that will delight your palate and be pleasing to the eye. Great care is given to serving only the freshest foods that are garnished with edible herbs and flowers from the Inn's own gardens. Weather permitting you can enjoy your breakfast communing with nature on our beautiful back deck and veranda.The Virginia Dare has comfortable seating for two, perfect for reading in front of the gas fireplace.
