Originally built in the late 1800's as a downtown merchant's home, the Inn has been lovingly restored to it's original beauty, by the proprietors, Lindsay and Nancy Richards. The efforts of their labor of love have resulted in a memorable ambiance of warmth and embraceable character. The Mount Dora Historic Inn features fine, beautifully appointed rooms with private baths, each decorated with individuality, and an emphasis on complete guest comfort and tranquillity. Go North on the Florida Turnpike. Past Orlando, Take 429 N, a new toll road that is much shorter. Take 429N until it ends at 441 N. Go North (Left) approximately 13 miles to Donnelly St. (McDonalds and Wendy's on the Corners.) Turn left and proceed South on Donnelly for 2 miles. This is in the historic shopping and dinning district. Turn left on 4th Ave and go 1 1/2 blocks. We are located at 221 E. 4th Ave.
