Valentine's Treats (Linzer Stained Glass Cookies & Chocolate Truffles) at the Two Sisters Inn - a bed and breakfastImagine having a playground like this in your own backyard! The Inn is at the base of Pikes Peak, and only one mile away is this beautiful Garden of the Gods and Red Rocks Park where you can picnic, hike, bike or horseback ride.
Enter the cozy Cottage behind the main house by way of its private garden patio. Sleep peacefully on the featherbed in a bedroom of white wicker, cuddle up with a good book on the living room rockers by the fireplace, and soak up the sunshine and moonbeams in the skylight shower. The creativity of the Two Sisters Inn owners is shown in this Red Box filled with Mosaic Mousse as prepared for Valentine's Day
A magnificent art glass front door opens into the Living Room where you can sit by the Manitou Greenstone fireplace and be surrounded by antiques and original hardwood floors. Local artists' works are found throughout the Inn including oil paintings, sculptures, and glass lampshades.Isn't it romantic to watch the twinkling stars through the skylight over the bed in the Floral Room? The hardwood floors, antique vanity and steamer trunk are reminiscent of the Inn's Victorian origins. Soak in the original clawfoot bathtub from the boarding house days in its private bathroom.
