    What a wonderfull stay we had at Zuzabed! It was recommended to us by friends and we must not forget to thank them a million times. Zuzabed comes with a private ambassador for Lisbon called Luis. He takes care of everything you can imagine. It (off course) starts with a cosy and very clean room with everything you may need. EVERYTHING, all the usual and more amenities you have in a 5***** hotel, but that's just the beginning. Luis takes care of your every need. Reservations to nice places to eat, tips for places to see and how to get there best, ... And to start the day just perfect, you will be treated to a delicious breakfast once more 5***** level! And he succeeds in making his guests get to know each other like no one else. You feel like your staying with friends. Zuzabed was the most fantastic ending of our wonderfull trip to Portugal! Thanks again Luis for such a great place! We'll certainly meet again sometime...

    • Deposit amount required: Upon reservation, a deposit of 50% of the total amount is required within 3 working days.

    • Cancellations: As one can easily understand, according to the familiar concept of B&B, alterations or cancellations can affect us significantly. Thus, we feel ourselves obliged to add the following rules. For cancellations made: 21 days or more before the arrival: 100% of the deposit is returned, with a €25,00 deduction of administrative tax (AT). 20 to 12 days before the arrival: 75% of the deposit is returned with a €25,00 deduction of AT 11 to 4 days before the arrival: 50% of the deposit is returned, with a €25,00 deduction as administrative tax (AT). 72 hours or less before the arrival, or no show without previous warning: NO REFUND. A minimum number of nights per reservation and/or a deposit of higher value can be requested at high and peak season or due to the calendar of Special Events occurring in Lisboa.     Hi Luis We probably returned to the wrong place after Zuzabed because we can no longer find tranquility, sustainable comfort, access to the heart of Portuguese urban culture and affordable gastronomy. And more than anything else we are missing the ubiquitous host Luis, who has answer to all questions and a solution to any problem. Thank you for your precious time!

    My husband and I just returned from 10 days in beautiful Portugal, traveling with my cousin and her husband. We had the good fortune to stay at Zuzabed - what a wonderful experience. From the minute the taxi drove up (as close as he could get!!!) to the entrance, we knew it would be a special visit. We arrived around 8 AM and of course could not get into our rooms - but that didn't stop Luis from providing us with a fabulous breakfast. He is a man who loves his "job" - meeting and entertaining people from all over the world, in his home. We had reserved the terrace room - had a fabulous view of the city and the restaurants right below - weather was spectacular (Luis had nothing to do with that, of course, but somehow it felt like he did!). Every morning during breakfast, we met and exchanged stories with people from all over the world. There are only 4 rooms in Zuzabed and several guests had visited with Luis before. Repeat business - what better recommendation?? He even provided us with a cell phone so he could stay in touch with us during the day to make sure all was ok - who else would to that??? Cannot say enough good things about our stay - only that we can't wait to visit again. Thank you, Luis, for providing us with such wonderful memories of glorious Lisbon.

    My girlfriend and I stayed at Zuzabed the first time in 2007 after she read a review in a magazine. Zuzabed is by far one of the nicest B&B's that we have ever stayed at - friendly, homely, central location, nicely designed. When recommending places to stay for a long weekend - we both have Lisbon and Zuzabed on our lips. Luis is a great representative for Lisbon and Zuzabed offers exactly everything we needed for a long weekend stay. Its now a regular fixture in our annual holiday plans, providing Zuzabed has availability.

    We stayed in this lovely charming B&B last week and I was very sorry I had to move due to the lack of full availability I asked. The beautiful rooms, the lovely charming host, the great breakfast and the unique central location made our holidays in Lisbon the most special time we had while in Portugal. Everything was spotless and for sure we'll be back. Thanks Luis and congratulations.
