Welcome The country cottage “Pátio do Xisto” was born from the restoration of a centennial building, typical of the schist villages, with the corrals for the cattle on the ground floor, under the actual house, to use the animal heat, so important during the rigorous winter of the mountains. In its recovery, the original schist walls were maintained and only the interior has been covered anew, where comfort criteria has so demanded. In this stroll through the past and contact with the mountain life that we propose, the future cannot be forgotten and so, to the visitors of “Pátio do Xisto” we bring to mind sustainability concepts, encouraging them to take maximum advantage from the solar water heating system.
