The Zororo Retreat

  • Inn Details

Welcome to Zororo, a relaxing haven set in the heart of Portugal's Beira region, described as the most attractive corner of this special country. We are located in a valley on the borders of a traditional village in the Serra Lousa hills with the Ceira River 250 metres away Zororo offers luxurious accommodation with breakfast, exclusively to adults who enjoy time away from the stresses of everyday life (and children!) in well-appointed surroundings. There is the option of a full evening meal on most nights. All our en-suite bedrooms are air-conditioned and centrally heated; including a balcony with views across the valley or forest. Within the gardens is an 11-metre swimming pool with a mosaic sun terrace, a hard surface tennis court, BBQ area, vineyard, and peace and quiet!

Had a great time here, all the luxury and service of a grand hotel yet the personal touches & informality of staying with friends, nothing was too much bother for our hosts. Wonderful homegrown food, the local area was unspoilt and beautiful and few cars on the roads! A hidden gem of a place, we will definitely return.
