A beautiful old Quinta with welcoming hosts. Rooms very clean and well maintained. Breakfast is outstanding with Fiona's fresh baked bread everyday fresh, organic eggs plus yoghurt, meats and cheeses. Evening meals can be requested all cooked by Fiona who is a trained chef. Winniehill is in a quiet location but close enough to local towns. The view from the pool terrace is gorgeous. We would highly recommend this b and b.

A great start to our holiday in Portugal! Lovely villa, wonderful views!! The hosts Fiona and Robin are very welcoming and friendly. I loved the breakfasts, home made bread etc! Fiona is a great cook!! Will definitely stay there again!

I am a professional chef, and worked in a country house hotel in Scotland for 10 years before moving to Portugal, so I would be happy to cook evening meals and enable you to taste some of the fantastic local fish from the fish market in Olhao. My husband is a Scottish PGA golf professonal, so any help with your Golf.

Leave the airport get onto the dual carriage way and go to the end of it The road curves down the hill as if you are going back on your self Go toward Estoi and Sao Bras de Alportel keep on this main road till you see a sign for Estoi on your right Head towards the Village, go over a small bridge and into Estoi infront of you will see a large church Go right at the church and then another sharp left. Go out of the village At the crossroads on your left yellow flats on your right a school. Turn left at these crossroads towards Moncaraphao There is a junction on your left towards Azinheira and Alcaria Cove Drive along this road for about 6 minutes there is a large hill in front of you with masts on the top keep going towards that As you see a hill there is a cafe on your left called Taverna Texhera it has a red sign red sign , opposite there are Post boxes and a small lane that goes up the hill Keep going up the hill till you get to a drive on your left it has 6 big tall trees in the front garden, You has reached Winnie hill
