Hello , I stayed in house 3. As I have rated above I was quite content, but I have a comment to make: I could not sleep well because of the noise from barking dogs somewhere:this might become a real problem, since Monterosa is meant for rest and relaxation. Furthermore, one small point: it would be nice to have the programme witl all the activitities in the house;I did not see it. That is all, Groetjes! Francine.

I came to Monte Rosa to get away from everything and focus on myself. This has been the perfect setting for me to do so. To say it is beautiful there is not giving it credit. Its a magical place that projects nature and life from every corner. Ive relaxed by the pool and had yoga sessions or massages on quiet days. When ive needed a little excitement I went to more than 10 different beaches, all close by and learnt how to surf for the first time. Because I was alone the administartor there took me on a beautiful hike along the mountains of the coast and really made sure I was happy along the way. I felt at home even if it was just for 2 weeks. Monte Rosa provides a little bit of everything in a gorgeous space. Im definitely going back.

Sandra is a lover of the outdoors. After moving to Portugal over 20 years ago and staring Monte Rosa she indulges in the many attractions Portugal has to offer. Whilst being a hard worker at heart she still finds the time to enjoy Portugal´s many beautiful beaches, explore it´s nature walks and travel whenever she has the opportunity. Warm and accommodating you can also find her frequently cooking wonderful meals for all the guests at Monte Rosa.

Follow signs toward Bensafrim and Barão de São João. It´s a very straight and easy drive from Lagos. You will go straight at the first roundabout and take the third exit at the second. After 10 minutes you will find a sign for Monte Rosa on your left hand side.

Directions to property:
The A22 will take you straight to Bensafrim. Follow signs to Lagos and Bensafrim is the next exit after Lagos. You will then go through a tiny town, follow the road around untill you see signs for the zoo. Follow signs to the right, turn left just before the zoo and continue down that road until the end. At the end of the road go left again and you will find Monte Rosa on your right hand side.
