1. from Madalena, airport, or ferry dock drive east on main island road toward village of Sao Joao for about 35 minutes or 35 klm about 30 minute drive. when you arrive in center of village São João go past 100 foot tree on your right look straght ahead at the hill in front of you there is a large red and white sign that says GUEST HOUSE,turn left on first road that you come to and that will take you to guest house.
