Ca' Solare
We are located on an old farm typical of the Piemonte region, nestled in the Monferrato hills, not farway from Torino, official site for 2006 Olimpic Games. Our house, originally built in 1850, was recently restored to its historic character. We're surrounded by hilltowns, Romanic churches, castles and traditional farms, which produce some of Italy's finest as wines, cheeses, truffles and hazel-nuts. Our own garden is available for guests, with a ping-pong table and a dart game, and we are surrounded by beautiful walking trails. There are also two nearby swimming pools. Inside, your spacious guest room with full ensuite bath is connected to a sitting room that's available for breakfast and relaxing... you can read, listen to music or simply talk together in front of the ancient fireplace. If you are bringing a baby, we also can provide a fully equiped sleeping crib for your room, plus a high-chair for meals. Babies under three years old stay for free.
Our 3 gentle Newfoundland dogs, Ginevra, Morgana and Ginger will be happy to play with you inside or out - but if you prefer, they will say hello discreetly from behind the windows ....
