This foyer is in the front part of the Inn and houses some of the Innkeepers 19th Century Staffordshire collection.  It is graced by an original window seat and several exquisite paintings (e.g. civil war era painting of a Hummingbird and a water color of a child from the same period) and a pair of 19th Century bird prints by contempories of John Audubon in original frames.  The Inn's second Victorian hall tree is in this foyer. The steps is one path to the upstairs suites and a large, hand carved
