The front parlor containing several Victorian chairs and a Victorian sofa in a pink designed fabric and an Empire mahogany sofa in rich red french fabric. A pair of 18th century enameled Chinese urns, turned lamps, grace the front windows along with two red satin "Gone-With-The-Wind" gas lamps. Several paintings are in the parlor, including two original early 19th Century New England paintings, one by the sought after Newport, RI artist, Elijah Baxter. An early 19th Century whale oil lamp, manufactured by the famed Mt. Washington Glass Co., with double overlay glass and original prisms and double oval shade sits atop an unique "turtle" style marble top table.
