Rebuilt in 1997, the Carriage House was once the site of an historic barn. The post and beam style construction, with exposed rafters, and rustic paneling surrounding corner fireplaces, lends itself to a warm, yet elegant, country decor. Antique pine and old quilts grace the common areas, while canopy beds, stenciling and hand crafted contemporary quilts can be found in the bedrooms. The Carriage House accommodates four luxury rooms, all of which have private baths, TVs, air conditioning and gas fireplaces. One room, Elizabeth's Garden, is handicap accessible. For those preferring the comfort of twin beds, or the accessibility of ground floor accommodations, Normandy is located just off the main entrance. The decor is rose, blue and white with a painted floral scene on the bedroom furnishings. It's newly restored bath has an oversized shower with seat. King size bed created by a doubler system joining two beds.Sip a glass of ice tea or lemonade while you rock your cares away on our beautiful wrap-around porch!
