Nestled along the banks of Rock Castle Creek, The Mountain Rose Inn offers historical country elegance in a secluded setting within the shadows of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Built at the turn of the century as part of the Mountain Rose Distillery, the Inn offers five guest rooms each with private bath, working fireplace, satellite tv and access to porches. One room also has two private porches. An elegant oil lamp lit four-course breakfast is served in the morning. With one swimming pool, six porches, ten fireplaces, and sixteen doors leading outside to one hundred acres, the Mountain Rose is truly a unique experience! Three diamond AAA rated. With a State trout stocked stream in our front lawn, we had to have a room with a fishing theme. Featuring an antique bed this room is a little more tailored in its decor. It is perfect for those who enjoy the outdoors and is a must when planning a special get-away for the man in the family!Filled with family heirlooms, this large and tastefully decorated room on the first floor overlooks the front gardens. There is a beautiful partial canopy over the plush king-sized bed. There is an antique desk and chair for sending out postcards to those who you have lost touch with, or there is a 25" satellite TV for those who just don't feel like writing.
