The house received an historic plaque in the 1970s. Mr. & Mrs. Worth raised their 5 daughters in the home and it remained in the family through a granddaughter until 1944 when it became a boarding house. It became a bed and breakfast in 1985. It is the longest continuously operating bed and breakfast in Wilmington
