Room one has a cathedral ceiling and is our honeymoon suite. A king size hand carved four poster bed with double pillow topped mattress, rich velvet down filled comforter, and a set of steps to help you climb into bed! A two person Jacuzzi tub in an alcove gives you a view of the wood burning fireplace and a hand painted armoire houses a flat screen TV with DVD and CD player, complete with surround sound. the balcony overlooks the Deerfield river, a perfect place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine on a warm evening. The room comes complete with an en suite bathroom, air conditioning and Wi-fi internet service.We have four acres of land attached to the property, bordered at the back by the Deerfield river. Alongside the river we have a Gazebo and a Pergola. In summer and early fall, we offer breakfast and English afternoon tea, served on the deck. In the summer of 2005 our gardens were awarded "best of show" in a garden competition organised by our local chamber of commerce.
Our sunny dining room has hand rubbed walls in warm ochre tones. Seating for twenty two at individual tables laid for two. Breakfast is waitress service, beginning with a choice of teas or coffee, a basket of fresh warm muffins, choice of fruit juices, followed by a choice of bacon, eggs, sausage, omelletes with a choice of fillings, challah bread french toast made to our own special recipe, pancakes, Belgian waffles the list is endless! Room four has a carved cherry wood queen four poster bed with a hand made lace canopy. Double pillow topped mattress and rich velvet down filled comforter. A matching Armoire houses a flat screen TV with DVD and VCR. A Jotul cast Iron gas fire, and a two person Jacuzzi tub which is huge. As with all our rooms, room four has Wi-fi internet access and is air conditioned.Room six, panelled queen bed with matching armoire, gas cast iron "Jotul " stove, single whirlpool tub.
Room five, has a cherry wood four poster queen bed, with a double pillow topped mattress, down filled rich velvet comforter and a hand made lace canopy. Beautiful antique cherry chest of drawers and an armoire housing TV, DVD and VCR alongside a fireplace with a Jotul cast iron gas fire. The bathroom features a huge two person Jacuzzi tub to relax in at the end of the day, and as with all our rooms, room five has air conditioning and Wi-fi.Room six - wooden panelled Queen bed with pillow topped mattress, rich velvet covered down comforter, warm and cozy for the perfect night's sleep. A Jotul cast iron stove gives a warm flickering flame to toast your toes, while you maybe watch a DVD or movie on TV tucked away in the matching panelled armoire. Your own private en-suite bathroom with shower, single whirlpool tub, sink and toilet, is provided with luxurious toiletries by Molton Brown, imported from England to complete the perfect getaway!
