The entry foyer greets guests with the sweeping carved staircase. The first floor living room (main photo) features 15-foot ceilings with plaster perimeter moldings, and center chandelier medallion. The hand carved woodwork includes the bay window trim, paneled pocket doors and fireplace mantel and mirror. The room is comfortably furnished with modern sofas, antiques and a player baby grand piano. This room makes a perfect place to relax after a long day of sightseeing or business conference.Each guest room is individually decorated. Most rooms are furnished with queen sized beds, all rooms include private bath. A hot cooked breakfast is served each morning, family style at our dining room table. Rooms include complimentary wireless Internet access. Off street parking can be reserved for a small fee of $12 per night

For the budget traveler, the Aaron Shipman House has a very small guest room with a double sized antique Wrought Iron bed. This room offers a private hall. Perfect for a single traveler, or a party of 2 in a pinch. All guest rooms have a phone extension, and color television as well.

A full bath, laundry facilities, wireless Internet and 52" TV with cable ensure a home away from home environment whether you are here for a few days, or a week.
