The koa trees make interesting shadows on the back lawn.I recently discovered that dahlias do very well here in Volcano, so I've planted about 30 varieties. We shall see how much of the year I can keep them blooming! It's now October and they're still going!

Often, you will find the endangered green sea turtles sunbathing on the rocks.
