The Stone Cottage
The stacked-stone exterior of this pool house is crowned with a terra cotta barrel-tile roof. It has scenic mountain views from its many large windows. The room has pine-paneled walls, hand-cut beams and a large fieldstone fireplace with a huge split-log mantle and built-in bookshelves. The room is decorated with denim, a bold red, white and blue plaid, and rhododendron floral accents. A queen-size bed and comfy pillows on the loveseat facing the fireplace creates your cozy-cabin environment. Just like a cabin in the woods, this rooms lavatory is equipped with a corner shower stall. Our very private one-room cottage overlooks the flagstone picnic patio and is near the pool.

Located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Our Inn includes the main house, a guest house, and a little stone cottage, all surrounded by acres of rolling meadows and woods.
You catch a glimpse of the inn across the meadow as you turn onto our long tree-lined lane. Through the iron gates and up the hill stand the main house, restaurant and the guest house. The Stone Cottage sits on the lower terrace, near the swimming pool and flagstone picnic patio.

Old world charm in the Camellia room. The Camellia Room in the Main House
Decorated to reflect a bygone era, this room is painted in deep burgundy and cream to enhance the dark woods of the antique furniture and oak floors. It features a high-headboard bed, a marble-topped and mirrored dresser and a matching cabinet. The hand-carved bed is covered in a floral tapestry with ivory crochet accents. Large arched windows offer panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, the front meadow and the Camellia gardens, which bloom in winter. This room has a very large bath with a crystal chandelier and oversize soaking tub; an ideal spot to relax.
