Our upper deck is a perfect place for a before-dinner cocktail, a light meal, or just to sit and read a book.Breakfast at Sunset Hill House -- fresh baked pastries, seasonal fruits, and specials made to order every day.
One of our lovely guest rooms, overlooking the White Mountains.Dinner for two overlooking the mountains. Fine dining. Fine wines. Fine view. Fine company...
Summertime in the heated mountainside pool at Sunset Hill House. Life is fine! This is the view of our dining room looking towards Mounts Garfield, North Twin, South Twin, Lafayette and Lincoln--all taller than Vermont's highest!). The window tables add the entire Presidential and part of the Kilkenny and Pilot ranges! Believe it or not, you look EAST to the sunset (the only true Alpine Glow this side of the Rockies).
Sunsets here are spectacular. This is the "poor view" from the Green Mountain side of the inn looking over the oldest 9-hole golf course and clubhouse in New Hampshire.Dinner here is always elegant. Come find out why we were named NH's Most Spectacular Meal by NH Magazine last summer.
In our yard at least a couple of times a month. What you don't see is the Franconia and Kinsman Mountain ranges framing the couple for their guests' photos (the arbor centers on rugged Franconia Notch). We were just named one of the 22 best places in NH to tie the knot by New Hampshire Magazine.
One of grand fireplace rooms (201) with two bay windows and perhaps the best mountain views of any room in New England.Lupine field a few hundred yards from the inn along one of New England's most spectacular mountain view walks. Go a little further and visit Sugar Hill, just one of three NH villages featured in the book "New England's Most Beautiful Villages."
Winter and the "off" season here is as beautiful as the traditional warm months. Cannon mountain ski area is just to the right of this photo (taken from the restaurant), Bretton Woods and Loon are nearby and we have our own XC nordic center on site. This is the smaller of our two suites and much brighter than this photo shows off. The 2-person Jacuzzi in the back beyond the King bed has perhaps the best mountain views of any in New England and sits in a former porch.
