The Presidential Cottage, a 3 bedroom 3.5 bath split-level house, once served as the vacation residence for President and Mrs. Jimmy Carter. Since its completion in 1994, it has been a favorite for family groups that include multiple generations. The large open kitchen that shares space with the living and dining area is perfect for socializing while preparing food and beverage. With front porches upstairs and downstairs, guests are able to rock and swing while observing activities along the nearby riverfront. No smoking. No pets.This 2,000-square-foot structure seats 125 persons and features 12-foot tall stained glass windows, vaulted ceilings, bride and groom dressing areas, and superb acoustics. Dancing Waters’ Chapel provides a classic romantic setting for the most memorable of days.
Boat docks for guest use at Steinhatchee Landing Resort. The resort is on the Steinhatchee River 3 miles to the Gulf of Mexico.
