We earned the highest 4-Kisses rating in the newest 2009 Edition of Best Places to Kiss -- the only lodging on the entire Olympic Peninsula with a 4-Kisses rating!Centrally located on the Olympic Peninsula, the main Lodge and private cottages are open year-round. Guests come to explore the nearby tidepools, hike the misty rain forest trails, and trek the majestic mountain peaks of the Olympic National Park. While our location is secluded and extremely private, the Lavender farms and quaint shops in Sequim, the Port Angeles waterfront and ferries to Victoria, BC are all just 15-minutes away. We're a quick 35-minute trip to Lake Crescent and 45-minutes to the historical Victorian seaport of Port Townsend. The Hoh Rain Forest, the stunning Cape Flattery trails, and windswept Pacific Ocean beaches are all a pleasant morning drive from the Lodge.
Beautifully and privately sited on more than 9-acres of sunny mountain views, ponds, waterfalls, and cottage gardens, the main Lodge is relaxed and casually elegant with lovely views from every room. After a delicious full breakfast, savor your complimentary morning latte on a sunny deck chair. After a day of hiking the nearby trails in thet Olympic National Park, linger in our hydrotherapy spa under the stars! The luxurious spa bath in the Creekside Suite features an extra-deep soaking tub, separate His & Her vanities, and huge steam shower with 2 shower heads and built-in benches. The two-sided wood-burning fireplace means you can see the fireplace from both the soaking tub and your bed. Now that's Spa with an aaahhh!
The Moonbeam Suite -- every luxury suite in the main Lodge features a wood-burning fireplace and sumptuous King bed with down comforter and 600-thread count 100% cotton sheets. Our gourmet breakfasts focus on Fresh seasonal produce and berries from local farms. In addition to a hot entree that changes daily, there are fresh baked scones or muffins, cereals, juices, Tillamook yogurts, gourmet coffee, and a selection of green, herbal and black tea. Of course, there are always complimentary lattes, mochas & cappuccino. In the summer, guests enjoy breakfast al fresco at private tables on the sunny deck.
The Sunnyview Suite -- every romantic suite features vaulted ceilings, sumptuous King size bed and of course, a real wood-burning fireplace. The Sunnyview features the best views of the snow-capped peaks of the Olympic Mountains. The Hideaway on Quail Lake is a private villa with private entrance, gorgeous gas fireplace, vaulted ceilings & skylights, walls of windows, and two sets of French doors that open to 2 private decks (one overlooks Quail Lake). A sumptuous bath features dual sinks, Italian stone & tile surrounding the garden jetted tub & separate shower. Best of all, there's a charming bistro kitchenette with slab granite counters, sink, and stainless steel appliances so you never have to leave the room! This Suite is the epitome of luxury making it ideal for honeymoons or special Anniversary celebrations.
After a day hiking the trails in the nearby Olympic National Park or kayaking out to the Dungeness Lighthouse, the warmth of the 2-story fieldstone fireplace in the Lodge great room beckons.
