In the Keeping Room a full breakfast is served during the summer months and a continental breakfast at other times. On those cold mornings, the fireplace glows with warmth and comfort. This is the original fireplace and beehive oven and was built of hand-made bricks. The fireplace still has the swing-out arm to hold the kettles once used for cooking. The table can accommodate 10 people and was made by the “Barnstable Table Maker” from very old wood. The hutch and buffet are also handcrafted.
