The Keeping Room (dining room) named after Enos Breed, builder of the house in 1818, with it¿s 8-foot beamed ceiling, working fireplace with beehive oven and original cooking utensils, wainscoting, wide-board floors, and 60-pane glass picture window returns you to the charm of old colonial New England. A full breakfast served by candlelight is offered daily featuring fresh baked muffin du jour, seasonal fresh fruit tray, and a full choice of egg dishes and omelets served with home fries prepared with herbs from our herb garden. A variety of pancakes are also available. All dishes are garnished with fresh fruit or flowers from our gardens. Herbal teas, brewed decaffeinated coffee and of course our freshly ground special blend of coffee are available.
