The Garden House building, built in the 1840's, is located just fifty feet west of the Main House. Three beautiful guest rooms and our kitchen/dining rooms are housed here.Dixie Yates in her kitchen. She has written a cookbook, "Yates House Favorites", and appeared in Southern Living, Midwest Living, USA Today, Sauce Magazine, 417 Magazine, Inside Columbia, and Rural Missouri. Her breakfasts are renowned. She teams with partner and Chef, Mary Schlueter for cooking classes.
Our dining room seats twenty four people very comfortably and is available for small, catered events.Tasha Tudor Room: This second floor room overlooks the historic residential district of Rocheport. Valentine Room: Also on the second floor, this room has similar views and amenities as the Tasha Tudor Room. Instead of Tasha Tudor signed prints, this room has a nice variety of antique valentines framed and displayed.
