Living Room
This room has two sitting areas, one with antiques from the Innkeeper's family and friends. To the left outside of the picture, is the open porch that has wicker couches, chairs and rocking chairs so that guests may enjoy ocean breezes. Through the french doors is the formal dining room where guests are seated at the dining room table for a comfortable gourmet breakfast.
Room 4
NEW PAINT! This room now has pale gold colored walls. This room is on the 2nd floor, is the master suite of the house with a king size bed and has a connected private bath (shower and tub combination with two sinks). It is decorated in rich browns and golds with pale gold colored walls. It has an overstuffed chair with ottoman in an inviting reading corner. The other corner has an intimate 2 person sitting area with two chairs and small table. The cherry armoire is a local reproduction. The mahogany and cedar hope chest at the foot of the bed was the Innkeeper's grandmother's hope chest when she married. The room is also furnished with two bedside dressers.Room 3
This room is on the 2nd floor, has a queen size sleigh bed and a private bath (shower and tub combination) which is located ACROSS THE HALL (detached from the room). It is decorated in ivory and white. The antique chestnut and walnut dresser, toy chest and Bible are all from Sussex County, DE. The two dolls were handmade by the Innkeeper's mother.
Room 5
This room is on the 3rd floor, has a queen size bed and shares a bathroom down the short hallway (shower and tub combination) with Room 6. It is decorated in browns, cherry and lighter reds with light sage colored walls. It is furnished with a dresser, side tables, a reading chair and features black and white photographs of local attractions. This room offers the most privacy and quiet of any room in the house.Room 7
This room is on the 3rd floor, has a queen size bed and a private connected bathroom (shower but no tub). It is decorated in light blue and ivory with pale blue walls and is filled with the most morning sunlight of any room in the house, capturing the Eastern sunlight. It is furnished with a baby blue writing table with white chair and comfortable stuffed chair in the corner just right for reading.
