A camelback love seat and wingback chair provide comfortable seating for reading and conversation.

Chairs and tables in the garden provide a lovely spot to share a glass of lemonade or some wine and cheese before heading to town for dinner.

Like the Bedroom, visible through the doorway to the left of the bed, it has the original wide-pine board floor, dating to 1815. The armoire dates to the early 1800s and is American-made. The room also has an antique writing table and two wingback chairs. The Williamsburg wall covering and works of art give the room an oriental flavor.
This second floor sunny, corner room has a sitting room adjoining the bedroom. A luxurious floor to ceiling drape frames the queen-size iron and brass bed. Oriental area rugs adorn the antique painted floorboards discovered under the wall to wall carpet during a recent renovation. There is an antique writing table, plenty of lighting for reading and a spacious closet. The Winter Parlor is available for guests to enjoy from November through April when the snow blankets the gardens and thoughts turn indoors. Featuring period antiques, loveseat, armchairs and a marble table for parlor games, the Winter Parlor is an ideal place to relax for afternoon tea or a little light reading before retiring for the night. Take a walk in the morning before breakfast and return to the Parlor to read the newspaper before indulging in breakfast.
