Enjoy Coffee, Tea and Hot Chocolate at our complimentary coffee station.Enjoy full use of our over sized kitchen during a "Whole House Rental."
Our Sun Room. Overlooks the front yard and a great place to unwind and relax with a good book.Come on up and play some tennis and let the kids enjoy themselves on the playground or the sled hill in the winter.
Peace and quiet from our 500' driveway...as seen from our sun room! Our Catawba Suite. 1st Floor. This lovely romantic suite features two bedrooms, one with a queen-sized bed and one with a full/double bed with a piano headboard. ( A true original! ) This suite is completely separated from the other suites in it’s own private wing. The two rooms have a door between them as well as doors opening onto the tiled in sun room which looks out on the Hot-Tub area and wooded acreage. This tiled sun-room with outside access, is what makes this suite our pet-friendly room for the inn. The Jacuzzi tub is highlight of this old summer kitchen which used to have a dirt floor. It was used by the servants to prepare food for the chef. This suite is a favorite for honeymooners as well as families with children.
The Vineyard Suite. 2nd floor. Our largest suite, The Vineyard offers a king-sized bed and a private 2nd floor balcony with access from both rooms of the suite. The 2nd room of this suite features a day bed which opens into 2 single beds. The electric fireplace helps add warmth and ambience to this room’s wine-country décor, along with the salvaged farm-house pocket door which now acts as a wall feature. The bistro table & chairs, small refrigerator and microwave and private bath make this suite a complete vacation hideway. It’s perfect for a family with children or couples traveling together. The Ivy Suite. 1st floor. The King Sized Bed in this suite is surrounded by a yellow shabby-chic décor featuring an old pocket door, salvaged from the old home-place remodel, old window shutters, and an old antique fireplace mantel. The beautiful bay window is a great place to watch for nature’s morning visitors. The deer, raccoon and other wildlife, love to spend their mornings in the clearing outside this window. The private bathroom in this suite is equipped as our semi-handicapped bath with a seat and handrails in the shower, as well as wider than standard doorways. This room features a Television on Direct TV.
The Spinnaker Suite. 1st floor. This high, four poster queen bed is the primary bedroom for this suite. The room features nautical décor and Grandma’s feather tick for a great night’s sleep. This two room suite also features a futon that folds out into a 2nd full/queen sized bed in the living room area of the suite. The brick fireplace with electric insert is a lovely focal point in the room when not watching the 50” flat screen TV on Direct TV that is featured in this room as well. This suite also includes a small refrigerator & microwave. This spacious suite with private bath is a favorite for families or couples traveling together, or anyone who just likes having a little extra space. The SunnySide Suite. 2nd floor. A king sized bed is the focal point of this beautifully decorated suite. This bathroom is located on what used to be the 2nd floor of a 2 story 1500 gallon water-tank room. It was the first inn to offer running water to its owners and guests. In this unique bathroom, John reused his Grandmother’s kitchen sink which has the enamel rubbed off from the bracelets she always wore while doing housework. The rustic (and now restored) claw-foot tub was in the “ghost house” when restoration was begun.
