The spacious double parlors, feature a hand-painted banana plant motif.All rooms have private baths. Here is a view of the Oak Room with its unique faux bois painted finish,trompe d'oeil so convincing you'll touch it to make sure it's not real paneled oak.
The spacious main hall runs the length of the house (nearly half a block!) and features the elaborate costume worn by owner David Johnson, a former king of one of the city's largest Mardi Gras parades.The Magnolia Room features a gilded headboard framing a handpainted plantation scene.
Guests can choose to enjoy their breakfast in the kitchen or at the antique dining table in the parlor.The Sweet Olive room features two double beds and French doors leading to a private porch overlooking the side garden.
