Elizabeth's room is furnished in elegant 19th century antiques yet offers all the amenities of the 21st century.The Governor's bedroom is a showcase of antique country pine furnishings and appropriate decorative artwork from the period. It boasts a view of the front lawn and features an open beamed cypress and pine ceiling.
Wake up to a sweeping view of the lawn where you can find, magnolia, holly, dogwood, azalea, and sugar maple to mention only a few of the seasonal plantings. Many are over 250 years old.A view from the bedroom reveals a 19th century outbuilding that served as a smokehouse and root cellar throughout the years.
A small intimate flower garden provides an excellent view and topic of conversation from the dining room as you relax over a full service breakfast.Guests are invited to enjoy the Southern style veranda and relax on the victorian wicker furnishings.
