Miles' room, for Miles Davis, one of the most innovative and influential musicians of the 20th century. He was at the forefront of every major development in jazz after World War 11.This room has a queen-size bed,a private kitchen and bathroom. This is a bio sustainable garden. All the soil is made from compost. This summer,we planted corn, sunflowers, chile peppers and tobacco. We did not use any hybrid seeds.
This is the shaded part of our garden.Everything here was found, either in a nearby building demolition site,or from the woods in the Catskills. We took all this organic decaying matter and rearanged it in this narrow passage way to recreate the floor of the woods
