Review Lyndon House B&B, Lexington, KY

Photo Album

The Lyndon House is located in Lexington's Historic Downtown. As guests step onto the porch the garden continues with colorful potted floral arrangements.
After stepping into the Gathering Room, guests are checked in at the "old English Pub," a symbol of British hospitality. The Gathering Room is a comfortable setting where guests can relax, enjoy refreshments, read the paper, or share their travel stories.
From the stairs guests pass through the grand entry into the Parlor. Both the Parlor and Dining Room have the original plaster walls, white oak floors, cherry woodwork, and ornate crown molding that the Headleys had installed in 1883.
Breakfast is served in the Dining Room, which seats eight guests comfortably. Each morning guests are greeted by the Innkeeper and treated to a full breakfast. Breakfast at the Lyndon House is a delightful combination of good food, great conversation, and Victorian splendor.
What a pleasant way to start a day!
The Keeneland Room is located in the front of the house next to the Shaker Suite, and receives the morning sun so it
is especially bright and cheerful. The Headley Room is named after the original owners of the house, Joseph and Alise Headley. The house was built around 1883 on the north outskirts of Lexington, but since the city has grown, the house is now downtown.
The Bluegrass Suite is the larger of two suites with a king-sized sleigh bed and is surrounded by the romance of the Victorian era.
