A one of a kind Bed and Breakfast,Chateau Chambery Inn, circa 1885, with its French design and 9 truly unique accommodations, this parochial school turned Bed and Breakfast provides a deliciously one of a kind atmosphere to the already beautiful Berkshire horizon. Tucked away in Lee, MA., the Inn offers six 500 sq. ft. suites which include either a king canopy or two queen beds, a warming fireplace, whirlpool bath, living area, desk, phone and cable TV. 8 foot windows and 13 foot ceilings, designer fabrics and of coure, the original blackboards, all add value to the comfortable/relaxing air to your visit. The spa suite touts a Jacuzzi for two with mirrored paneling, fireplace, 35" TV, king bed, dressing room and our soothng whirlpool bath. Nothing says "Romantic Getaway" more that the spectrum of our 9 lodging choices. Of course our sumptuous, homecooked menu-selected breakfast is delivered to your doorstep at the requested time. Our golden rule: Rest, Relaxation and Rejuvenation. We have masterfully blended these themes to provide YOU with impeccable accommodations that cherish French architecture and promote the personal need for a calm spirit. You will want to return!

Constructed in 1885, the Berkshire's first parochial school, St. Mary's, became the parish's financial nemisis as its usefulness to the parish ended in 1957 when a replacement was built. Chambery Inn is the result of a monumental preservation effort manifesting with the translocation of the building to its new home on Main St.in May of 1989. The inspiration to make this marvelous building an inn came some time later in the early winter of 1990. Through the spring and summer of 1990 crews worked tirelessly to preserve the character and quality of this unique ediface while adding the ammenities that would give this "old gal" a new purpose for many years to come. The celebrated open house marked the beginning of its new history on October 1,1990.Grand and spacious, the eight foot windows and 13 foot ceilings eminate a different era-a step back in time. The hustle, bustle of the one time school room turned rejuvenating hostle creates an oportunity for inspirational artwork to be left on the slate blackboards!
