Hazelnut Room: This spacious bedroom is accessible for everyone and the private bathroom is tiled and marbled with a whirlpool tub and shower combination. A large gas fireplace makes it very romantic and the room has it's own private outside entrance besides the inside entrance.Besides having the most comfortable bedding available, we wouldn't be a Bed & Breakfast if breakfast didn't live up to its reputation. Shown is a 'regular' on the menu: Dutch Style Pannekoeken. Rolled crepes filled and served with fresh fruit, juices, coffee or tea and appetizers like home made banana bread and fresh cut grapefruit sections.
The Bar is the most contrasting common space in the house since it is decorated in old European 'Brown Cafe' style. This area is used by guest to make fresh coffee or tea anytime and has a sink, refridgerator, icemaker, icebuckets and glassware availble. Of course it is a great place to socialize while sitting at the Walnut bar top and letting the large fireplace warm your back.All rooms have a private marble & tile bathroom attache right to their room. Some with Jacuzzi whirlpool baths, others with Jacuzzi Airbaths (like shown) or with clean glass showers. All have blowdryers, soft towels and antique looking fixtures, yet modern in functionality. Instant hot water and super pressure puts our B&B in a class of it's own.
You do not just have to live in your guest room. Our very spacious and comfortable living room with old wood burning fireplace is available to all guest for reading, chatting or planning the days out into Amish Country. Different seating arrangements give you your own space for whatever mood you are in or to play a game of cards at the gametable.Looking down our field at the romantic & historic B&B building.
On the premises is our cottage for the ultimate in getaway. It is the ORIGINAL springhouse built by the settelers in the mid 1700's atop a still active 300 gallon a minute spring.
