The Lodge on Lake Lure is a wonderful combination of an elegant country inn and a casual bed and breakfast--an intimate environment with all the privacy you want, furnished with art and antiques. Recently brilliantly renovated, the guestrooms at the Lodge have been enlarged, bathrooms are gorgeous, and many rooms have private decks or terraces.The boat dock is headquarters for guests who enjoy swimming, fishing, boating, or just lounging and enjoying the incredible view of the lake and Blue Ridge Mountains.
The Lodge on Lake Lure is a large, rambling structure situated to afford a sweeping view of Lake Lure and the Blue Ridge Mountains. Its great room is warm and inviting with vaulted ceilings, hand-hewn beams, walls of wormy chestnut, and a huge gristmill stone embedded in the twenty-foot-tall stone fireplace. Through the French doors is the dining sunporch with lots of glass for enjoyment of the scenery.
