A unique feature of The Chalet Club is our private seven-mile network of hiking trails, which originate just outside the front door of the Main Building. From March through November, the trailside displays of wildflowers and fall foliage are incredible. The trail¿s destinations are five overlooks and a series of waterfalls. Elevation change from top to bottom is 1300 feet with the Chalet in the middle. The Club van can meet hikers at the base of the mountain for those who wish a ride home.

A Fall Sunrise spotlights the Chalet. The foliage begins changing in early September and concludes in November.
Arrange your fall getaway around the activities and climate that you might wish to enjoy during those months. Water Sports are still the rage in September and early October, and Golf, Tennis and Hiking take center stage in November. Touring the mountains or visiting some of the local attractions such as the Biltmore Estate are always favorite pastimes during any season.
In the evening, the Chalet and the cottages are aglow with fireplaces crackling with wood cut from the Club¿s estate.
The living room of the main lodge invites relaxing by a fire with a book, gathering with friends or family after a delicious meal or gazing out across the mountains from the window seat and getting lost in their timeless beauty.
