During whale season, (Dec thru April), whales are often seen in the Au Au chanel between the islands of Maui, Molokai, and Lanai. One of our friends who lives on a sailboat anchored in the channel tells us he hears the "whale song" all night and as they often circle his boat at dawn.

Open a bottle of pineapple wine and curl up in a big wicker chair to "talk story" with other guests from all over the world, and watch a Maui sunset over the islands of Lanai and Molokai from our balcony and Victorian turret.
The "guest kitchen", is located on the balcony just steps from all the guest rooms,and was included as part of our design for the convenience of our guests. Although we serve breakfast downstairs, we felt it would be nice for our guests to be able to fix an early pot of coffee, or prepare their own lunch, snacks,"pupus", or (apetizers).We keep the kitchen partialy stocked with the basics, and guests often use it to make a light breakfast if they are catching an early activity boat or taking a daytrip and need to leave before our scheduled breakfast time.
