Deep burgundy, dark wood, and rich opulent plaids lends to the atmosphere of an Old World ‘study’ tucked away in the rear of the winery where the vintner sits at the desk going over wine production for the season, indulging in a glass of Reserve. With a king bed, and en suite bath, there is nothing Old World in accoutrements…after all what’s a study without a flat screen TV and wireless Internet!

The Magnolia Suite. In the upper central part of this 1830’s house is Magnolia Place’s reason for being! The Suite has lofty ceilings, a four poster bed, fireplace and dark wood furniture. Within the Suite is a separate bathroom with shower, plus an additional Jacuzzi room. From the bedroom, French doors open onto the Suite’s own veranda area, with a table and two chairs ready to receive the visiting couple of the Magnolia, for morning coffee or a glass of wine when twilight descends on the house. Art work, net bed canopy and Magnolia accents hint of a Gone with the Wind grand era of peace and tranquility.
Our guest have the pleasure of experiencing the bounty of our own locally grown fruits.
Leafy green and white décor with a few nautical accents sets the scene for the lovely bay window views of vineyards and the lake in the distance, through lush green treetops. From the comfort of your queen bed, cozy in luxury bathrobes, just across the hall is The Lake Room’s private spacious bathroom. Step out on the large second storey veranda from your own room access door, with morning coffee or a twilight glass of wine, to breathe in the expansive view of sunshine, sails and sunsets.
Rock away the day on our veranda and enjoy the surrounding vineyards and countryside.
