The antique furnishings in this room have aged with the home. Galveston prints and wall hangings include a copy of the original owner's citizenship papers, first obtained in October of 1872. Also included are family prints from the turn of the century, and current photos of the Ohmstede family as it exists today. This beautiful room includes a Queen size bed and private bath. The bath area is furnished with an antique cast iron tub with French shower (telephone shower). The room features a writing desk, central heat/air, wireless internet access, celing fan, radio/alarm clock, hairdryer, color cable TV, and small refrigerator.
