This lovely Victorian home was originally built in 1886 by Galveston business man Theodore Ohmstede. Built to last, this 123 year old home has withstood numerous hurricanes including the 1900 Storm, Carla in '61, Alicia in '83, and Ike in '08. The home served as a private residence or a boarding house until 1995 when it was purchased, by the present owners, for the purpose of turning it into a Bed and Breakfast Inn. This beautiful Inn consists of 5 lovely guest rooms, a game room, dining room, and parlor all for the enjoyment of our many guests, who have in the past 14 years, or will in the future cross its aged threshhold. We invite you to come and experience our lovely Inn, stroll in our beautiful gardens, and enjoy a restful respite from your everyday cares.
