Our "Captain's Dining Room" is one of our two dining rooms that is just the place for breakfast - and Barb's "Lobster Quiche" on weekend mornings. Our specially brewed coffee, juices, and home made pastries will await you each morning after a restful night's sleep.The "Great Republic" room is named after one of the greatest Clipper ships of all time. Portraits of the Inn's former owner (a New England Master Mariner), his wife and children overlook this historic bedroom.
All of our rooms are named after famous clipper ships, as Freeport was home to many of them that were built here. The "Ocean Monarch" is just one of seven comfortable rooms with private bath. Air conditioned, Queen bed, hand made quilts, down filled feather mattresses, lounging chair, with complimentary soaps, lotions, and bottled water are all included.
Our magnificent "Sea Captain's Stairway" built in 1848 takes you up to the Inn's seven bedrooms. The Inn still maintains all of the original pumpkin pine floors, wainscoting - and the "Maine Cottage" atmosphere that will transport you back in time.
