The Hideaway began as a single-car garage, later served as an office, and finally became a special accommodation for two. The Hideaway is furnished and decorated with rustic antiques. After a good night's sleep, start the day off in the large, walk-in shower of tumbled marble. Fortunately, the new owners have preserved just about everything that makes this a winning place to stay.... The location, about 5 miles north of Fredericksburg on an idyllic country road, is far enough to avoid the tourist bustle, but close enough to get into town at a moment's notice.
