The "Maria" room in serene shades of soft aquamarine and ivory has a reading nook and glimpse of the harbor.The Thorp House Inn has been welcoming visitors to the charming village of Fish Creek for over 100 years. It is Listed in the National Register of Historic Places and was the inspiration for LaVyrle Spencer's best-selling "Bittersweet".
The "Emma" also has a cozy reading nook and French doors that open to an opulent double whirlpool with skylight overhead.The "Emma" room's reading nook - a sheltered spot to relax in Victorian style.
The "Jessie" fireplace complete with Victorian memorabilia and "ladies" and "gentleman's" chairs.Enjoy the beauty of Door County in winter at one of our "Historic Inns Progressive Dinners" On the first 3 weekends of December, and also on Jan 9 & 10, the three historic inns of Fish Creek put on an incredible feast! The "Jessie" dressing room (as viewed from the "Jessie" bedroom) with its double whirlpool. The dressing room has an adjoining bathroom with shower. The "Everil" with its 16 ft.cathedral ceiling, double whirlpool,fireplace and balcony,is just the luxurious hideaway you've been searching for.
The "Eliza" room is decorated in carved oak antiques from England and "rose chintz" wallcovering. Two wing chairs provide reading comfort."The Library" Did you know - Thorp House Inn was the inspiration for LaVyrle Spencer's best-selling "Bittersweet"...you're sure to find a copy in the first floor library...and in the upstairs library too.

The reading nook is to the left."Dove Cottage"  Perfect if you are traveling with a small child (or two)...or just want your own kitchenette, TV, fireplace, whirlpool ...also has a deck and water view.  Open in winter too.
"Dove Cottage" master bedroom with its queen size four-poster bed.  The other bedroom in this cottage is teensie - just right for two tiny children.  "Lark Cottage"  Perfect when you want your own little house...doesn't come with breakfast but  has its own kitchen, two bedrooms, wood burning fireplace, jetted tub in the bathroom, cable TV, VCR/DVD, deck and view of the harbor...and it's open all year.
