One room in our Vermont inn offers a double queen bed when vacationing with the children or when trying to save some money by sharing with friends. Mansfield and Hazelnut rooms  offer spring mattress futons for sitting or sleeping for additional guests. If traveling to Vermont to visit many of Vermont's historical treasures, you will get a taste of the Vermont heritage by staying in this stone and timber frame inn made with the same traditional methods use 200 years ago.

A large lounge and dining area strike similarities to the old Vermont farmhouse with its open floor plan, making it conducive with sharing good times with family and friends. Plush mattresses, HDTVs, free Wifi do not detract from the cozy rooms, making our inn not just another lodging experience. Vermont's character rests as comfortably here as you will. Your place in Vermont is unmistakable when looking out the windows from our Mansfield and Willoughby rooms. Out inn is not a bed and breakfast with shared quarters, it is a place that offers you complete privacy in your rooms, which each have private baths.
Hazelnut is a first level disabled accessible room with forest views, king bed, ultra-plus hypo-allergenic mattress, private bath with shower style tub and hand wand, high definition Sony Bravia TV  and quaint timber joist ceiling. A futon with a full spring mattress makes this room versatile for sitting for two or sleeping for four. Vermont ski trails at Smugglers Notch are part of the Green Mountain landscape. Looking south east toward Burlington, it is amazing to think that this is one of the more populated spots in Vermont.

Simple bathrooms are appointed with antiques such as this sign from a local Vermont company that speaks of a time gone by. Lake Champlain was used to haul lumber from the Green Mountains to all points in the northeast.Warm hues from the floor to the timbers to the chairs and comforter, will keep you feeling relaxed. Vermont has been noted for its quality of life. Living in harmony with nature in the Green Mountains can be achieved if only for one night in this room.
Hand crafted solid cherry furniture adorn our Vermont inn. If looking for an alternative to Burlington lodging, the Inn at Grace Farm is just 25 minutes north in the Green Mountains.Vermont furniture makers made some incredible Windsor chairs, like the one pictured here. Seldom while vacationing, do travelers get to sit in such a fine example of Vermont history and Vermont tradition. We have tried to separate ourselves from other lodging by providing these types of details.

Viewed from the lower pasture of the farm, The Inn at Grace Farm rests on a hillside surrounded by a pine forest.
Driving along the Lamoille river through the northern high peaks region of the Green Mountains will bring you to Smugglers Notch for some of Vermont's best skiing. In the summer, Mount Mansfield offers ample hiking and sight seeing. This view shows our south pasture beneath spruce trees after a light snow. Antiques like a Canadian jelly cupboard and duck decoys appoint the timber frame.
