In winter it is the site of the famous Toboggan Slide.My favorite room at the Inn! Ground floor of the Garden House with sliding glass doors to the herb garden patio. Large bathroom with a deep tub for soaking. King sized bed, Sleep Sofa and easy chair for reading by the window. Handicap accessible.
Much of the beauty of Eagles Mere is protected by a Nature Conservancy and State Forests. Trails range from two miles to over 50, leading to waterfalls, trout filled streams, bird filled forests and "can see forever" vistas. Take a brief drive to a beautiful mountaintop for sunsets and spectacular Fall foliage.
