Casa Escondida offers our guests the best of both worlds....a secluded, country setting that also happens to afford effortless access into historic Santa Fe, picturesque Taos and much more! Due to our central location, you will only need to unpack your luggage once during your entire visit to northern New Mexico. We are nestled on six acres with mountain views. We offer 8 intimate and comfortable guest rooms (all with private baths & cozy robes). Four of our eight rooms are pet friendly. You will find that all of our rooms are filled with antiques and accented in a rustic southwest style. Some rooms offer fireplaces, private decks or patios, kitchenette or wood stove. Casa Escondida is somewhat akin to a southwestern country inn. Our completely TV-free environment enhances the serenity of your stay. After a day of sight-seeing, enjoy a soak in our outdoor hot tub. Our "Wildflowwer Room" is an intimate adobe room with one full bed, vigas and traditional New Mexican floors. The private bath for this room features an old-fashioned claw-foot bathtub. Perfect for a luxurious bubble bath! Our "Heart of the House Room" features a working antique wood stove, creating a warm & inviting atmosphere. It has one queen bed and one daybed that converts into two twin beds if needed. It features a small sitting area, vigas and traditional New Mexican floors. It also has a rear exit that provides you with direct access to the back garden area & outdoor hot tub. It adjoins the “Sun Room” to create a double suite if desired.
