Dining room. Guests start the day with a complete organic breakfast, including a fresh-fruit cup (we carefully select fresh fruits daily,) fresh-baked sweet breads, yogurt with raspberries, an egg dish with toast, fresh orange juice, and our fantastic homemade granola. House specialties include olive & sun-dried tomato tapenade, southwestern quiche, and homemade salsas. (Recipes have been featured in the Denver Post). Organic coffee and tea are freshly brewed. Breakfast is served either in our dining room or on the cheery sun porch, weather permitting. Arrangements can be made for in-room service. ANTERO ROOM: Enjoy the wood-burning fireplace in the private sitting area in this large room. The room is full of light, and has seasonal mountain views. An antique vanity serves well as a desk. The private bath features a rain shower, a beautiful tile floor, and a pedestal sink. The queen bed is placed in an intimate separate alcove, and hand-painted flowers adorn the wall above the headboard. The sofa opens into a queen-size sleeper. The room also features a gorgeous rustic-oak floor, and skylights (not yet shown in picture) that give this room a wonderful open feeling. Cable TV is available upon request.
BLANCA ROOM: This large room is full of light. It features a queen bed, a sitting area with a writing desk, a plush sofa which opens into a queen-size sleeper, and a wood-burning fireplace. The private bath features a rain shower, a beautiful tile floor, and a pedestal sink. The room has a gorgeous rustic-oak floor and skylights (not yet shown in picture) that give this room a wonderful open feeling. Our most spacious room, and one of our most romantic. NORTHSTAR ROOM: Extra-long twin beds are great for siblings or friends traveling together. The bath has a tub and shower, and an outside entrance gives great access to our backyard sitting area, a relaxing place to sip tea and chat. (The other entrance opens to the house.) This room can be configured with a king-size bed upon request. Cable TV is available upon request. TEAKETTLE ROOM: Our coziest room features a queen size bed, walk-in closet, and a bath with a tub and shower. An outside entrance provides easy access to our backyard sitting area, a relaxing place to sip tea and chat. (The other entrance opens to the house.) Cable TV is available upon request.
WINDOM ROOM: Big windows and a queen bed make this room wonderful for a romantic getaway. A drop-leaf table with plenty of light provides a romantic spot to enjoy a tea-tray, or work space for the business traveler. The bath has a rain shower. This room shares a large balcony (with the Shavano room) overlooking a patio and gardens, providing a great spot to sip tea and relax. Cable TV is provided.
