This is one of our rooms, the Queen's Solar. I chose this name because it's high above the great room and in the afternoon, the sun pours through the stained glass windows and the skylight. It has a king-size bed and a private deck where you can enjoy a quiet breakfast which makes it perfect for special weekends, anniversaries and honeymoons!Reflection of the Bed in the Azalea Cottage
A very dear friend of mine has alway called this "the wishing door," and the name stayed. She says she likes to go through it with her wishes to the gazebo and meditate.The gazebo is on the front lawn. It's a wonderful place to sit and contemplate, read a book or have a cup of tea. It's surrounded by lilies, roses and azaleas.

This is the view in the late afternoon from the inside balcony of the Queen's Solar. Just look at the reflection from the sun!
The Meadowlark Cottage has a king-size bed and separate sunroom with a deck at the front and a private deck off the sunroom.Breakfast room set for two. Table can accommodate 12 easily. Full breakfast, cereal, fruit, juice, muffins or sweet roll, eggs, toast, pancakes with real maple syrup, tea and coffee. Join other guests in planning the day and sharing experiences.
The Great Room set up for a dinner. Beautiful stained glass windows, hardwood floors. A lovely setting for a wedding or a meeting.
