Desert Island.After a busy day in Acadia National Park or in one of the villages on Mt. Desert Island you can return to the Graycote for some light afternoon refreshments.
The Graycote's large side yard provides you with a beautiful spot in which to relax in Adirondack chairs or hammocks - or play a game of croquet.During spring summer and early fall you will have breakfast served to you on the breakfast porch and in the dining room. Maine ingredients are used whenever available. Our coffees are roasted in Bar Harbor. Your wild blueberries will come from Downeast Maine of course!
During the winter you will be served breakfast in the dining room with a cheerful fire burning in the fireplace.The Cadillac Mountain Suite is the largest of our suites. It is located on the first floor - ideal for guests with restricted mobility.
The Somes Sound Suite is a large suite on the second floor of the inn. Situated on the southwest corner of the house it is a very bright room.The Hulls Cove Room is located on the third floor and offers you a king bed, full bath, and a private balcony overlooking our side yard.
